SKF

Letters from Sweden was commissioned by NORD ID to develop the new SKF Display typeface, drawing inspiration from SKF’s iconic 1908 wordmark. The result is a distinctive typeface available in three different weights, each retaining the delightfully quirky notches that give the original logo its unique character. This project builds on the studio’s earlier collaboration with SKF, having previously designed SKF Sans in 2023. Together, these typefaces form a cohesive and modern typographic identity for the global engineering brand, respecting its heritage while pushing its visual language forward.
