Trim Poster

Trim Poster is a member in the Trim family designed with one purpose in mind: compact headlines without crashing. We know Yankees and Englishmen don’t have much of a problem with this, but in many other countries we have extra marks resting above or hanging below some letters.

These “diacritics” become problematic when setting type with a tight line-height. In Sweden tabloids often work around the problem by making custom adjustments to the diacritics for Å, Ä and Ö.

Trim Poster is our reply, and comes in eight cuts from Skinny to Fat. All with stylistic sets for two different diacritic styles, so you can make that headline fit exactly as you want, whether you’re a Swede or not.

Trim Poster was updated in December 2016 to include lowercase glyphs and more styles. We renamed the styles in order to reflect this update. If you want to license the old versions, please license the new style which is visually closest to the old. For instance, if you look for Condensed, license Average. For Compressed, choose Lean etc. Drop us a mail after the purchase and we’ll send you the old version for free.
