Dagens Nyheter

Established in December 1864 by Rudolf Wall, Dagens Nyheter is a prominent daily newspaper in Sweden. Headquartered in Stockholm, it provides comprehensive national and international coverage. In collaboration with DN, we have meticulously crafted an extensive typeface collection, encompassing both a Serif and a Sans Serif. DN Serif comes in three optical sizes with seven weights, including accompanying Italics. DN Sans is available in six weights with Italics, and we have also furnished DN with variable fonts.

DN Serif exemplifies the harmonious fusion of Bodoni and Times, infused with distinctive attributes inspired by the newspaper’s logotype. DN Sans draws from the conventions of reliable and versatile Grotesque typefaces. Both typefaces also inherit elements from DN Bodoni, a bespoke font exclusively created for Dagens Nyheter in the early 2000s.
