Försvarsmakten

The Swedish Armed Forces is the government agency that forms the military forces of Sweden, and which is tasked with defence of the country, as well as promoting Sweden’s wider interests, supporting international peacekeeping efforts, and providing humanitarian aid. In collaboration with DDB Design we have designed Försvarsmakten Sans for the government. Inspiration comes from typical military environments and Scania Grotesk, an old typeface we found in a specimen book from Swedish type foundry Berlingska Stilgjuteriet.
